RECORD
BOOK: FREESTYLE SKIING
Freestyle
skiing is one of the few winter sports that has long been dominated by North
Americans – certainly at the World Cup level.
The National Cup, the top trophy for team freestyle performance, has
been won by the United States and Canada nearly every year since its
inception. But Canada and the United
States have by no means owned the freestyle slopes in the Olympics.

For those of you keeping score at home, that’s ten
medals for the United States (four gold) and six for Canada (two gold). Next best:
Norway and France with six medals each, Finland with four, and many
other nations with three.
